DEERHUNTER
THURSDAY Nov. 20 | 9 pm | Richards on Richards | Tix $16 at Red Cat

Indie-rockers from Atlanta

From Red Cat Records: This is by far the best record I have heard this year, 2 cds full of pysch influenced noisy pop that is enveloped by Brandford Cox’s eerie vocals, I saw his other project Atlas Sound play down at SXSW last year, backed by the band White Williams, that performance reminded me a bit of how this Deerhunter record sounds compared to “Cryptograms”. “Microcastele” is a little more melodic but still with the undercurrent of chaos needed to translate Cox’s ideas.
