The place isn’t even open yet, but the early appointment of much-liked Keith Nicholson (ex-Bearfoot Bistro) to run The Wine Room (upcoming Joey’s concept in the Bentall Center) has come to naught. I bumped into him at the Gold Medal Plates two nights ago and he told me he’s already done. Passed by the construction site the next morning – a lot of work still left to do.

Keith Nicholson could’ve given so much credibility to the Joey’s group with that project. I guess the “financial-expense-account” types will have to do with “Whatchamacallit” wines.
